We are based in Wirksworth, Derbyshire and can travel up to 50 miles to your event.
A charge of £1 per mile is applied after 15 miles. We are fully portable and can set up in your very own home or hired hall.
Venue access needs to be appropriate for vehicular access and parking.
Local council permits will be required in advanced if organising an event on public property (e.g a public park). Toilets and hand washing facilities will be provided by the property owner. Animal Encounters Derbyshire can provide hand wipes and sanitiser.
A copy of insurance documents can be sent to your hired venue.

Customers are welcome to pick a couple of their favourite animals. Simply pop me a message with the animals of your choice.
Please note that due to the shedding cycles of some of our reptiles, alongside changes in the weather, we cannot guarantee any specific animal appearance at your event. The welfare of our animals always comes first.
Animal Encounters, Derbyshire operate with their own public liability insurance.
Abusive behaviour towards staff or ill treatment towards our animals will end the event with immediate effect and no refund will be given.
A face mask is no longer routinely worn, however if you wish for any of our team to wear one, we are happy to oblige.
Customer safety and the welfare of our animals are our top priority. Although well trained and comfortable in busy environments, animals can be unpredictable. Supervision of children at all times is required by a parent or guardian.

A non-refundable deposit of £50 via bank transfer is required to secure your booking.
Remaining balance to be paid on the date of the event or prior.
An alternative date will be offered if there are extreme weather conditions, or if we are notified at least 21 days prior to the event date.
A full refund will be given if Animal Encounters, Derbyshire needs to cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances.
